Sunday 19 July 2009, starting at 12.00 Noon – Bournemouth Beach
Entry Fee: £10.00 (Adult), £5.00 (Child)
Now in its 19th year, the Annual Pier to Pier is the longest offshore charity swim in the UK at 1.4 miles, between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers, and is a highlight of the British Heart Foundation event calendar. Due to phenomenal demand BHF will not be accepting entries on the day – you must register in advance to take part.
Places are going quickly – on 14 April there were less than 100 left. So please register early to be one of the 1200 swimmers taking part!. The event is open to all ages, however under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Entry forms help cover the cost of organizing the event. It is only through sponsorship you raise that BHF can reach their fundraising goal and continue vital work. Please remember you must raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship money to take part in the swim.
