  1. A delighted Mark Shakles, Brownsea Swim 2015 Organiser said: “This year’s swim has been another huge success and I believe that the reason for this, is the way the event flows from start to finish, which is down to all the volunteers giving up their time to assist us with the event.

“The comments received so far from the swimmers and spectators have all been overwhelmingly positive, and the swimmers have shown complete appreciation for all the volunteers who help make the event so special.

“As you know we do encourage all the swimmers to use this event to raise sponsorship for charities of their own choosing. This year the amount that has been pledged / raised so far has reached £23124.00 which is in itself a great achievement, and makes all the effort put into organising the swim even more worthwhile as the charities below will benefit from all of our efforts.

This years amount brings the total raised for charity, since we started to encourage swimmers to use the swim to raise sponsorship in 2009 to just over £100,000.00, which is amazing.

“I have listed the charities that have benefited from sponsorship as a result of the 2015 swim below”
