Swimming is a sport for life as Jaring Timmerman, who turned age 105 in February, proved when he swam for a world record in Winnipeg on 24 January 2014. He already held four FINA swimming world records in the 100 to 104 age category, and trained twice a week leading up to this latest milestone.
