On 4 Nov 08, Bob, Danni and Becky were guests of Poole Bay Rotary Club at their weekly dinner. The intrepid trio were there to share their experiences of the club’s successful channel relay adventure. The Rotary club had sponsored Danni and Becky for £100 and had taken a keen interest in their successful venture.
As team manager, Bob gave an outline of how it all came together and the organisation and the training involved in the challenge. Danni and Becky were then able to share their experiences of a memorable year and explain what it meant to them.
A film was shown of highlights of the channel relay year and questions from the Rotary members answered.
