Want to know answers about anything that influences your sport? Then get your queries in now for a special ‘Question Time’ session being run as part of the ASA Swimming Conference on Saturday 23 October 2010.
Club administrators are being given the chance to pitch any questions they may have and possibly have them answered ‘live’ by members of the ASA senior management team.
This could be a question about how clubs can be involved in the countdown to 2012 or a burning issue surrounding how swimming fits in with the new government’s plans for sport. Whatever the issues affecting your club, you can put them forward for consideration in the Question Time session.
To send in your questions simply click here by 31 July 2010
The link opens an email. Type in your question, click send and the ASA will pass it on. Only a select few will be answered ‘live’ at the Swimming Conference but if you submit a question the ASA will strive to get it answered for you in advance. they will also be uploading responses to www.swimming.org after the Swimming Conference.
The Swimming Conference at Holywell Park, Loughborough is a FREE event and is your chance to talk to us and discuss how we can work together to drive the sport’s future development. This year’s conference is aimed at those involved in club administration and the ASA want to develop a real two-way dialogue between staff and delegates on the day.
As well as hearing from guest speakers from the world of swimming, all delegates will have the opportunity to attend workshops and visit the ‘information zone’ (details coming soon!) to chat to ASA staff on any matters that concern you.
The ASA have already asked what themes you would like to see for the workshops and thanks to your responses you will have choices such as working with leisure centre and facility operators, communications, governance, data protection, talent, workforce and swim21. More details will be released shortly!
