The course will run once a week on a Sunday over 5 weeks at BH Live’s Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Kinson, Bournemouth.
The course is due to start on Sunday 14 April and currently has places available. The assessment will be on the last day, Sunday 12 May.
This course may be of interest to some of our club members, so please pass on details to anyone interested.
Cost: £200 including a copy of the latest edition pool lifeguard manual and the assessment fees.
John Wheeler is offering a 15% discount for people attending the course who are in full time education at college or university.
Candidates will need to be over 16 years or older and able to meet the following fitness criteria:
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
- Swim 50 metres in no more than 60 seconds
- In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool 1.8 metres
