Swimmers and their parents are invited to participate in two surveys which will provide valuable input to ASA products and services in the area of sport psychology.
The swimmers survey will look at the ways in which parents and coaches interact with their children and athletes within swimming and the parents survey investigates attitudes and perceptions with regard to the psychological, social and emotional development of swimmers.
These surveys are part of a PhD study jointly funded by Loughborough University and Nottingham Trent University and are supported by the ASA. It is hoped that the results of this study will help to further ASA products and services in the area of sport psychology by enabling a more targeted approach towards specific participant needs.
The survey is expected to take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to complete.
If you wish to participate in this survey, please do so by 1st May 2011.
