The blueseventy GreatBig OpenWaterSwim

blueseventy are proud to be the title sponsor of the first ever GreatBig OpenWaterSwim on Saturday, 11 July 2009 at Dorney Lake, Eton, the venue for Rowing at the 2012 Olympics.

The fresh clean water at Dorney is ideal for long distance swimming. There are three accurate distances on offer: 1km, 1 mile (1,609m) and 3km.

All entries will receive a great goodie bag for taking part, and all swimmers will be given a colour coded swimming cap and a fantastic blueseventy GreatBig OpenWaterSwim T-shirt as a race memento.

Highly visible course marker buoys and full water safely cover (lifeguards, kayaks and surf skis) will be provided.

Numbers will be limited for this race. Over 1,000 are expected to take part.

Wetsuit use will be encouraged. They can be hired, or see the special deals in the Human Race Web Shop.
