EDOWSC are holding the annual Seahorse Swim off Studland on Sunday 22 June 2014. In previous years this has proved to be a very enjoyable and successful event for both competitors and helpers.
We would ask all club members, their partners or friends who have not already done so to confirm now that they will help out on the day.
The tasks do not normally require any specialist skills and may involve helping to marshal and/or direct competitors at various places on the beach or car park. Other volunteers may be onshore spotters in case swimmers leave the sea early and need some support to get back to the registration area or runners taking results from the finish area to the results tent. For those with more experience of competitions there are roles such as timekeeping and recording of results.
Please give this some consideration and let Gerry Griffin (gerry-wareham2003@hotmail.co.uk) or Michelle Noble (michelle@resultstriathlon.co.uk) know if you can help on the day.
