Brian Bewley has announced his retirement as secretary with Open Water swimming after 16 years commitment to the region’s programme. He will retire at the end of the 2011 season but we need a volunteer to start learning what needs to be done, shadowing him and taking over some, or most, of the duties as the season progresses. A full job description is being written by Brian and the volunteer will work with him to ensure the full scope of duties is understood.
- Do you have a commitment to Open Water?
- Do you know the workings of this discipline?
- Do you want to get involved with Open Water?
If you can answer yes, or even maybe, to any of these questions please respond to this e-mail with a brief summary of your open water experience and aspirations.
