Wanted – two female cold water swimmers!

The Institute of Sport and Recreation Management have been contacted by a film production company who are working on a film in production in the UK. The company are looking for two female cold water swimmers aged between 18-30, Caucasian and with roughly the following measurements (5’7 height / 34″ chest and 26″ waist) to body double one of the actors for a scene they are shooting in a waterfall in Wales in July. Are you or anyone you know  interested?

clash1aThey will need to be seen from the back (without a wet suit) and be able to withstand standing under a very cold waterfall for relatively long periods of time. They will need to be available from Monday 13 July 2009 until Friday 31 July 2009. The swimmers will only be required for two days within this period and dates will be confirmed nearer the time. The work is paid, accommodation and transport to Wales will be arranged and paid for by the production.

  1. I don’t know for sure that this is one and the same but it may well sway your decision! There is a remake of Clash of the Titans in production starring: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, Jason Flemyng, Alexa Davalos, Izabella Miko, Nicholas Hoult and Pete Postlethwaite.

    It begins filming in studios outside London and will later shoot in various locations in Wales and in the Spanish Canary Islands, predominantly on Tenerife, off the coast of Africa. Further aerial work is set to take place in the diverse locales of Ethiopia and Iceland.
