Your day on the beach
10:30pm – 12:00pm Board paddling and open water swim skills – Developing Board Paddling prone technique and balance and safety
12:30pm – 2:30pm Board paddling and open water swim skills – Open water swim skills and understanding the environment. Developing wading and dolphin diving. Developing body surfing. What to do if you are in difficulty in the sea
2:30pm – 3:00pm Beach fundamentals
This Boscombe event is running alongside the Swell Beach, Ocean Watersport Festival weekend of 11/12 October 2014 and accredited by Surf Lifesaving GB and supported by SLSGB and RNLI.
Chris Millener, Secretary, EDOWSC said: “The coaches are really helpful and informative and there will no doubt be a great bunch of women taking part. One of our members took part at one in May on the north Devon coast and really enjoyed it.”
